Lukebana

Known for his exceptional voice and passionate performances, singer and multi-instrumentalist Lukebana has been performing since childhood in Angola. Now based in Portland, Maine, he is an active collaborator who enjoys working with fellow writers and musicians.

After sharing his work as a storyteller with the New Mainer Project, Lukebana completed training as a teaching artist in 2025. A multilingual educator fluent in Portuguese, he brings his love of storytelling, music, and cultural connection into his work with communities.
