Greg Marchetti
Gregory Marchetti, PT, Ph.D., CPE is a Professor Emeritus and adjunct in the Rangos School Health Sciences at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Dr. Marchetti earned an entry-level Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science from the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. He obtained a Ph.D. in epidemiology with an emphasis in non-communicable disease and injuries from the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh. Teaching and research areas include rehabilitation, occupational injuries, and public health.
He holds certifications in ergonomics practice from the Board for Certification in Professional Ergonomics. He has over 40 years’ experience as a performing and recording musician and applies his training and experience to injury prevention in musicians. For over 16 years he has served as a provider of rehabilitation services to individuals without access to health insurance.
