DocSong’s board plays a vital role in bringing real stories to life through song. As a board member, you help guide our vision, support our artists, and strengthen the programs that transform personal stories into music that connects and inspires communities.

We’re seeking passionate leaders who care about music, community-engaged arts, and social impact. Your experience, perspective, and networks can help DocSong reach more storytellers, expand our programs, and preserve voices that might otherwise go unheard.

Board members actively contribute to DocSong’s growth through:

• Strategic guidance and organizational planning
• Supporting fundraising and donor engagement
• Ensuring programs are effective and impactful
• Building community partnerships that broaden our reach

Members meet quarterly (virtually and in-person) and work between meetings through committees focused on development, governance, and program support. Board members also give annually—either personally or through fundraising—to help sustain our work.
