Before her imprisonment, Amy Spence focused on survival. She learned to block out things that happened to her as a little girl. Now she is looking within herself and takings steps to become whole.

Amy Spence is one of the story sources in a nationwide project to write and perform documentary songs based on spoken words and true experiences from prison. This is the first song in the 12 song series “Unlocking Harmony.”
