“Key of Love” tells the story of Danie’s discovery that her faith and beekeeping are intertwined. The song follows her journey from seeing herself as a caretaker of creation to recognizing the bees as spiritual teachers who correct her behavior and guide her toward humility. “Key of Love” explores the transformation from stewardship to kinship, challenging assumptions about who belongs in our spiritual communities. Sometimes extending ourselves means learning to listen to voices we never expected to hear.
