Taking a Moment

With my mom we stand in one spot
For five minutes and take in the view
With my dad, he’d go shopping
While I do like the feeling of moving on
For five minutes or longer
I prefer taking a moment

I remember at Disney World
A tram went round in a circle
I rode over and over

There’s a difference between being peaceful
And doing nothing at all

Before the moment is gone

When I went to Deer Island with you
We would stop and look at the fog
We would stop, watch the ocean
